About Us

Vision

Founded in 2010, Positive Change Matters, Inc. is a 501 C-3 nonprofit organization whose vision is to lead in the delivery of community initiatives and programs that promote healthy communities for individuals and families in need. We hope to inspire and serve at-risk populations with interactive, educational,  impactful, and meaningful services that will encourage and foster contagious positive change.

What

We help to fill the gaps in social change by offering specialized programming, coaching and mentoring, workshops, and speaking engagements that many families and underserved communities may not have access to. 

Why

  •  We work with 1st Gen college students because many of them are unaware of their 1st generation status and the resources that are available to them, to be successful.
  •  We work with at-risk youth because many of them are often born into poverty, experience family instability and dysfunction, endure an unstable educational environment, and often experience poor community resources.
  •  We work with young adults and women to support Lifeskills training and resources, as many in this demographic lack the essential basic accountability, time management, communication, and self-empowerment skills to be more successful and independent.
  •  We work to facilitate innovative and educational programming that support soft people skills and build the confidence of those we serve.
  •  We work to build stronger bonds with for-profit organizations, social institutions, churches, schools, and other nonprofits to fill the gaps in services that can mindfully and collaboratively achieved.
